biography
Lisa is an American actress that comes from a large Haitian family on her mother's side. She enjoys being branded as 'the hottest auntie in the place' wearing clothes that are too tight and a keeping a curse word tripping off her tongue. Lisa relishes playing characters that bring comic relief but also serve as the voice of reason.
She is a Sag-AFTRA and Equity actor based in New York. Her credits include co-star roles in ‘When They See Us’ directed by Ava DuVernay, 'Bull' directed by Doug Aarniokoski, ‘Stella’s Last Weekend’ with Alex and Nate Wolf.

Her national commercials include Paycom, Cigna, PNC Bank, Walmart, Swanson Broth, Liberty Mutual, Food Lion, Chase Bank, Trojan, BET, and Pringles. Theatre credits include roles such as Queen Margaret in 'Richard III', Vera in 'Seven Guitars', Angel in 'Marisol', Tituba in 'The Crucible', and Mrs. Winsley in 'Stop Kiss'.
Her background includes training in acting from Spelman College (BA Theatre), Purdue University (MFA), Upright Citizens Brigade (Improv) and Shakespeare & Company.

Lisa has produced and co-starred in an award-winning web series 'Breaking and Entering" and is currently working on producing an independent film.
Lisa is passionate about ending housing discrimination. She currently serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors at the Fair Housing Justice Center (FHJC). FHJC is a non-profit in New York City whose mission is to eliminate housing discrimination; promote policies that foster open, accessible, and inclusive communities; strengthen enforcement of fair housing laws.
